Stéphane Tournié, pupil of Lucien Vanel and André Daguin, is the chef of des Jardins de l’Opéra, star by Michelin in 2012.

A star reborn on the place of Capitole, welcoming the perseverance and talent of Stéphane Tournié.

He joined in 1987 the Vanel restaurant ** in Toulouse, and continued his career in Paris the Taillevent kitchens ***, then at the Crillon Les Ambassadeurs restaurant ** alongside Christian Constant which M6 has participated in the media. Then in 1995 he discovered new cultures at the French restaurant Relais Gourmand in Chicago and at the antipodes, in 1997, he takes command of the gourmet restaurant ‘The Maxim’s de Paris’ in Singapore!

It’s Chef chocolatier Yves Thuriès (“Le Grand Ecuyer” in Cordes) who did come to Toulouse Together, in 2006, they are betting to relaunch the Jardins de l’Opera, where the decor has been rejuvenated. Celebrities from crossing (as Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, Yannick Noah, Tony Parker, Robert Hossein…) make stop in this historic site.

Stéphane Tournié does not forget insofar as it owes its success to daily customer loyalty and the quality of his work.
