Michelin-star-chef at L’Auberge du Prieuré in Moirax

Benjamin TourselBorn in Lille in 1973, Benjamin TOURSEL became chef by passion.

After a classical degree, he studied cooking, got his BTS and met his wife Agathe. They began their careers across the channel in a hotel 4 star luxury, and in 2002, he discovered the cooking of Michel TRAMA. He remained a year and a half as a second.

But at thirty years Benjamin and Agathe wished to settle. This will be in Moirax and l’Auberge du Prieuré a few kilometres from Agen.

A favorite more than a choice of reason. This installation at Moirax is beyond a gastronomic choice, before a family choice. “We feel good here. I treat myself, I couldn’t do that in town”.

A fresh, thoughtful, light and tasty cooking. “The cooking is a product, a seasoning and cooking; the rest is a bit of technique…”

In 2006 he was elected grand of tomorrow in the Gault et Millau

In 2007 he became chef of the year at the omnivorous roadmap.

In 2008 the Michelin guide awarded a star.

In 2012 the Gault and Millau tour awarded him 3 toques, a coup de coeur and the title “Gault et Millau gold big tomorrow Aquitaine”.
